In typography session we needed to create series of life drawings of ourselves (students). Then we had to choose one of those drawings and analyze its construction (strokes, black areas, white space, contours). Afterwards, we needed to translate this drawing into a new typeface. We were not allowed to use any computer software for the design of our typeface or typesetting the pangram.
The other part of this brief was to create a magazine spread with an essay (written by ourselves). In the essay we needed to write a critique/advice from other typographer eyes ( I choose Stanley Morison). After, we needed to write a respond to that critique from our perspective.
